Juxtapoz // Thursday, 21 Jul 2011

Opening July 29th will be Eric Kroll's show, Sex Objects to Fetish Girls, which presents selections from Kroll's two famous works. Sex Objects is the a result of Kroll's travels across the United States photographing and interviewing women who work in massage parlors, strip clubs, and sex joints. Fetish Girls is a collection of surreal images that playfully elaborate upon sexual fantasies.

Kroll's work in Fetish Girls is stylistically influenced by the likes of Man Ray, Eric Stanton, and Irving Klaw. Also opening this same evening at Prism Gallery will be Sunset Etc... featuring work by seminal artists Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, Ed Ruscha, and Roy Lichtenstein. If you're in LA, give it a look.
