The feathers Kate utilizes are collected from racing pigeon enthusiasts, whom the artist sends letters with requests for feathers. Upon receipt, she then cleans the feathers and forms them into stunning sculptures.

In her latest work, Kate created a large cascade of thousands of pigeon feathers for her piece, Discharge.
