A great story of fashion, heritage, and design coming together in one project, featuring a few friends in Copenhagen's Norse Projects and California's Vans. In a project paying homage to Danish design, Norse Projects has curated a 3 way collaborative project with Vault by Vans, Kvadrat and Poul Kjærholm entitled “stoflighed” (texture and form).
Contemporary textile producer Kvadrat supplied the Tundra and Tonica fabrics for the project.

The stoflighed project focusses on 3 main elements: Fabric, footwear and furniture, and is completed with an installation which will accompany the in store release.

Contemporary Danish textile producer Kvadrat supplied the Tundra and Tonica fabrics for the project. Kvadrat is Europe's leading manufacturer of design textiles. These textiles were then applied to two iconic skateboard shoe models from Vans - Era and Chukka. Both models are available in three distinct colourways, and express rich tones and textural qualities.

The fabrics were also applied to two classic pieces of furniture, the PK80 daybed and PK91 folding stool from Danish architect Poul Kjærholm, who is revered for his minimal yet functionally oriented designs. Kjærhom was also known for his steel furniture and reductionist approach to design. His furniture is still produced by Fritz Hansen.
