The Sparks, "Ignite What's Next", art tour hosted by Sparks, Upper Playground, and Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine kicked off on Friday, September 7th in San Diego, CA with live painting installations by artists David Choe, Retna, and Saber. The afternoon event was part of the Agenda Trade Show at the San Diego Concourse and the evening event was held at Ole Madrid in San Diego's historic Gas Lamp District. Huge crowds came out for both installations and plenty of Sparks was drank by all. The tour is just getting warmed up, so check out the list of upcoming events to see if these artists will be coming to your town! Next stop: Santa Cruz, CA with an afternoon event at The Krate located at 803 Pacific Ave that starts at 3pm. Just added to the Santa Cruz events: Alex Pardee.
