Bold Stencil Work by Snowden in Ghana

One of the most inspiring characteristics of art is that it transcends barriers. Barriers of language, background, prejudice, location and perception.

Take, for example, these images from Atlanta, Georgia based graffiti artist Snowden. The artist recently made the long journey over the Atlantic Ocean to West Africa, and he took the time to share with us some of the dope work he did while in Ghana. The juxtaposition of native children alongside Snowden’s bold stencil work only adds to the photograph’s overall power.
