Art In the Streets Issue Contributing Editor, Roger Gastman, Interviewed by NY Times

Juxtapoz // Sunday, 13 Mar 2011
Our April issue of Juxtapoz, the Art In the Streets Issue, companion to the MOCA's "Art In the Streets" exhibition that is opening in Los Angeles next month, was curated by Roger Gastman. (Who happens to be a curator of the MOCA show, along with MOCA director, Jeffrey Deitch, and Aaron Rose). The New York Times, getting in the Art In the Streets mood, profiled Gastman this weekend.

You might know Gastman for contributing to Juxtapoz over the years, or editing While You Were Sleeping and Swindle Magazines, or his appearence in Banksy's Exit Through the Gift Shop.

As the Times notes: While the tattooed, baseball-capped Gastman says he wasn’t expecting the e-mail he received from Deitch about the MoCA show, “I sort of feel like I’ve been training for it my whole life.”
