Juxtapoz contributing writer Matthew Newton just launched Annals of Americus. “The site is a home for my more personal writing -- and also notes about projects I'm working on.”

Newton sums up the site pretty succinctly in writing: “I am a writer, editor, and independent journalist. My work focuses on subculture, crime, mental health, race, class, and creativity. Annals of Americus is a journal of my life and work.”
