Anatomical Portraits by Billy Reynolds

Juxtapoz // Thursday, 01 Nov 2012

We know yesterday was Halloween, but why not have some classic lowbrow styles on this November 1st day. We like Billy Reynolds' statement, too: "I will always be a traditional painter, because nothing beats an original hand-made analog creation. Analog creations are of the highest order in human capabilities."

"Digits, all those 1's and 0's, remain servants to human nerve impulses and emotional (over)reactions of the ego. Painting only dies once the cyborgs take over. So if anyone mentions to you the invalidity of painting 'these days,' then you've come across a cyborg."
