An interview with Beth Carter

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, 15 Dec 2010

We like being surprised by art, and the work of Beth Carter is certainly a bit different than the art we cover here on the site. Our resident blogger, Richard Scarry, spoke with Beth recently to discuss Carter's Internal World. She is a sculptor and creates fine art drawings with charcoal.

She has been known to create sculptures of bull, horse, bear, fox, or rabbit heads on the bodies of naked men. Like the piece you see above.
