Street artist Above recently returned from a trip to Cuba where he completed a site specific stencil installment, “Help thy Neighbor”, that is intended to draw awareness to the ongoing crisis in Haiti.


Above says, “Cuba is less than 90 miles away from Haiti making them very close neighbors. The young and courageous neighbor [depicted in the installation] is embarking on a journey to Haiti to help out those who have fallen victim. The recent earthquakes in Haiti have taken over 230,000 innocent lives, wounded 300,000 and made 1,200,000 people homeless.”
