We thought that we had posted the work of Montreal's Jannick Deslauriers on the site from this past Fall, where the artist create the fragile, large-format tank installation that was constructed and held together by black thread. We love how the artist takes a seemingly ruthless, powerful weapon of war and recreates with the most delicate of materials. The work was on display at Toronto's Cooper Cole (then Show & Tell) in late 2011. (images via)
