Metal Headz: Photography by Mert & Marcus

Erotica // Thursday, March 22, 2012
A new modern armor rises. Like a gilded cage for the body. It captures the spirit of both old-school craftsmanship and the decadent artisto. Gold leaf, decorative embellishments, and restrictive metalwork celebrate the eroticism of a constructed silhouette that demands a sharp intake of breath.

In the last few years he has been focusing on creating work for apparel, skate decks, and more. According to Aguero, "I don't think I have an art style in particular. Banksy: New Origami Crane w/Goldfish Street Piece

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, March 21, 2012
Always fun when a new Banksy piece surfaces, and although we don't have confirmation from the artist's site, this appears to be a new piece in the UK near some sort of industrial stream. Origami crane, goldfish in mouth, what appears to be a nice village, and soon to be a lot of pictures being taken.

Notebook Drawings by BLU

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, March 21, 2012
We were checking BLU's website last night after finishing a little project with FAME Festival, and noticed he had updated his site with new notebook drawings. Because we are used to seeing BLU's drawings becoming multi-storied political commentary pieces, seeing his work on this scale is a great reminder of how talented the Italian artist is.

Coffee Stain Portrait by RED

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, March 21, 2012

She has taken hundreds of individual coffee stain rings, "many of them broken and imperfect like fallen autumn leaves," to form a whole portrait. The results, and video, are quite amazing.
