Paintings by Phil Hale

Juxtapoz // Friday, August 15, 2014
London-based painter Phil Hale's "current work focuses on figure as well, in depictions of slightly surreal scenes with strange characters performing various physical feats, usually in a confrontation of some sort. He seems to take keen interest in tension and emphasis of angular and dynamic aspects of the figure, almost always incorporating slight anatomical distortions to great effect."

Waterslide Action Shots

Juxtapoz // Thursday, August 14, 2014
Krista Long’s I Love Summer! photography series is quite refreshing. Even though the dog days of summer are technically over, it’s still warm outside and these photos are just what we need for a sense of gleeful coolness. Long catches the moment when vacationers exit a waterslide, creating an adorable effect. Enjoy!
