Shepard Fairey "Harmony & Discord" @ Pace Prints, NYC

We stopped by a packed house last night in NYC for the special opening of Shepard Fairey's Harmony & Discord exhibition at Pace Prints, featuring Shepard's first works in handmade paper, all created in the Pace Editions studios in New York. Mixed with the 26th Street Block Party and the Frieze Art Fair, it was a big turn out and some of our favorite Fairey work to date.

Not using pencils, but literally utilizing pencils as the actual materials in which to make the sculptural portraits. The Colombia born, Miami based artist, Federico Uribe, created the series Pencilism: Sculptures, where the sculptures come alive with multi-layered expressions and textures.

All City Canvas' "PIEZAS" @ FIFTY24MX Gallery, Mexico City

Last Thursday the exhibition PIEZAS opened as part of the Festival All City Canvas at Fifty24MX in Mexico City. Several pieces were on view by many of the artists participating in the festival such as Saner, Roa, Interesni Kazki, Aryz, Sego and El Mac.

Natalie Shau is mixed media artist and photographer of Russian and Kazakhstan descent based in Lithuania (Vilnius). She found interest in fashion and portrait photography as well as digital illustration and photo art. Despite her personal work, Natalie also creates artwork and photography for musicians, theater, fashion magazines, writers and advertisement.

The studio is specializes in vector visuals, full of movements and color. Today Yann digitally illustrates vector type and lettering with fluid masterful control and understanding.

Tellas x Moneyless @ Katowice Street Art Festival, Poland

Combining similar simplistic styles to collaborate on a huge new mural for the Katowice Street Art Festival, Italian artists, Tellas and Moneyless, make a good team. The duo used monochromatic shapes and patterns with nice composition, to create a non-intrusive piece for the residents of Katowice, Poland.
