"The Four Seasons" by Philip Haas

Street Art // Saturday, July 07, 2012
Four 15-foot-high fiberglass sculptures representing the four seasons currently occupy the garden of the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London.  The sculptures were created by artist and filmmaker, Philip Hass, who was inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s Renaissance paintings of the four seasons, comprising Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.  They are creepy, peculiar, and very well done.

Illustrations by Diego Fagundes

Juxtapoz // Saturday, July 07, 2012
These works by Brazilian architect / illustrator Diego Fagundes are so simple in execution, but pack a heavy punch of narrative and figurative symbolism. Like BLU, who does these kinds of works on multi-storied buildings, these works play on the idea of space and our perceptions of our own reality. It should be noted that Diego is an architect at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He knows a little something about space.

Juxtapoz // Friday, July 06, 2012
Beautiful Loser curator, artist, filmmaker, and musician Aaron Rose has been involved many art projects over the years, and was a major figure in NYC's underground art scene in the 1990s. Since, he has moved to Los Angeles and has a "big black box of 1990?s memories" in storage space in Glendale, and now he is having a fire sale. At a gallery. Known Gallery. Which makes it sort of an exhibition fire sale if we were being clear.
