We had so much fun with Alex Pardee and his Halloween issue, that we just couldn't wait to hang out with him again. Just in time for New York Comic Con, held from October 11—14 at the Javits Center, Pardee is set to release some new works, and the Zerofriends team have a booth where you can get, well, Zerofriends things.

Well, British artist Bruce Monro has found a place for 65,000 recycled Cds: make waterlilies. Why didn't we think of that?

We think we have expressed this sentiment on the site before, but we are huge fans of the work of Korean artist, Spunky Zoe. Her ballpoint and acrylic works just have this original vision to them, not to mention that they are created on large format paper. Fascinating work as always.

This sounds a little vague, but we have definitely been excited by classic, handpainted movie posters on the site over the past week (see our Top 25 list here). Today, we came across a great list compiled by 50Watts of these great Swedish posters from the 1930s that were made in conjunction with the great Hollywood films of the day.
