The Horse Head Pillow Case

Juxtapoz // Thursday, October 25, 2012
Somewhere, Mario Puzo is very proud of the Horse Head Pillow Case. For those of you that love the Godfather, you know that this is a fun revenge-light gag gift. But for those of you who may be dealing with someone who doesn't know the Godfather, this may ruin a first date and, um, trip to the bedroom.

Kyle Ranson Mural in Clarion Alley, SF

Street Art // Wednesday, October 24, 2012
Over the years, Clarion Alley in San Francisco has gone from a destination point in showcasing some of the most talented muralists work in the Bay Area, to a graffiti-scribbling playground. The organization and management of the walls in the alley deteriorated and the graffiti writers decided that no murals were sacred; including a rare Chris Johanson that was tagged repeatedly than eventually buffed.

RIPO "Surreal But So Real" for Tudela de Navarra, Spain

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, October 24, 2012
We got a few images of this fantastic mural that RIPO finished in Tudela de Navarra, Spain for the Avant-Garde Urbano Festival. The name is perhaps even better: Surreal But So Real. That is our feeling about much of the great building-sized murals being completed in Europe these days. Thanks to Henrik Haven for the head's up.

Inside Google's Data Centers by Connie Zhou

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, October 24, 2012
The virtual has a physical component. We think of Google so often as just something in the virtual world of cyberspace, that we tend to forget it has to exist, especially in data transmission and storage, as a physical space. Photographer Connie Zhou documents the Google data centers, and they appear to some of the most candy coated data centers you will ever see.

Some people like buildings, landscapes, poodles, chipmunks, or even smurfs, but I think that the most beautiful creation that God ever made was the woman, so why not draw that...'

We got gargoyles in the trees! Artist Clément Briend takes the textures of trees and light projects images of gargoyles to give the effect that the trees are indeed alive. The result is some of the most beautiful, and fun, imagery we have been able to post on this site in the past few months.
