We are pleased to announce "Frequency and Volume, a special party Juxtapoz will be hosting on the rooftop of the SFMOMA tonight, January 17, from 6—8:30pm. As an emerging artist, Elliot Freeman is currently studying Illustration at Camberwell College of Art and is in his 2nd year of his studies. Elliot's work is raw, edgy and somewhat humorous- often showing skewed perspectives and a new way of approaching abstracted characters and compositions.

Bruce Mackay is an artist and illustrator living and working in Cape Town, South Africa. His obsessively rendered illustrations share a common theme of momo-chromatic, hyper-intricate repetition- giving them an appearance similar to old wood block prints or etchings. His 'Crazed Waves' series was produced for the "I'd Rather Be Swimming" Exhibition at Salon91 Gallery in Cape Town.

With paintings that captures the mystic and power of shipping containers, Iverson's work set in the backdrop of the world's busiest port has brought out the power of the new body of work.

Lush has been illustrating various characters surrounding the graffiti and street art culture, making humorous diagrams of each persona. This drawing is titled “Railfan graffiti photographer” and is one of the more accurate depictions we have seen him create. There are subtle and very obvious jabs in each of these drawings, but more often than not, there is a real truth behind them.
