Young Galaxy's latest music video for their 2011 track Blown Minded was produced, directed, and animated by Montreal-based visual artist Carine Khalife using only oil paint on glass. Explaining her technique, Khalife says, "I would paint on the glass with oil so that it wouldn't dry, and I could play with it for hours. A camera, fixed overhead above the animation table and plugged in my computer, would capture my paintings frame by frame and create the animation..."

A Redditor recently came across a pretty impressive Styrofoam cup doodle. The cup was left behind at a car dealership in Norman, Oklahoma and is covered in intricate doodles, inside and out. Patterns, text, characters, and cartoon character from The Simpsons, Smurfs, Dilbert, and Beetle Bailey appear on the cup and the inner rim reads: "If you look deep within a piece of art you will find a piece of its creator."

The light installation Isotopes v.2 by Nonotak Studio hypnotizes visitors with moving lights, attracting them to the center of the installation. Then, the rhythm and the intensity of the lights continually become more aggressive until they generate immaterial barriers: "it's easy to get in but neigh impossible to get out." The catalyst and inspiration for the project is the Fukushima nuclear disaster and it is meant to echo the way humans approach nuclear power. Watch a video after the jump!
