This past weekend was crammed with things to do, but everyone in San Francisco seemed to make there way to the grand opening of White Walls and Shooting Galleries new home at 886 Geary. The 5,000 square foot creative space played host to an amazing group show by local artists Charmaine Olivia and Chad Hasegawa, as well as an installation a few paintings from a Juxtapoz favorite, Sickboy.

His November series comprised of spilled ink images on paper executed with the incorporation of benzene, acetone and black tushe in order to create a variegated range of tones and colors is a wonderfully controlled experiment...

Over the past year, Juxtapoz and Converse have teamed on a unique project, Wall to Wall, where we invite an artist in a city in North America to create a semi-permanent mural based around the artist's interpretation of the iconic Converse star. Today, we look back on the mural created in Montreal by former Juxtapoz feature artists and design team, 123Klan. The piece was completed on Boulevard Saint-Laurent.
