We're on a bug art kick even though we didn't know that was a thing until this morning. The second piece of bug art we are enjoying this morning is John Knuth's collaboration with MOCAtv using 250,000 house flies! He uses the digestive process of the fly to paint a canvas with the pigmented organic waste of the flies. Watch the video after the jump!

They are always a lot of fun so this morning we take a look at some more of his incredibly intricate work. Lasserre spent the most of his childhood in South Africa and has exhibited across North America.

For a recent Dewars Whiskey promo film, the company sought out beekeepers, a sculptor and 80,000 bees to create a sculpture made entirely by bees in what they cleverly refer to as 3-Bee printing. Watch the video after the jump...

Kustom Kulture 2 was not just yesterday’s leftover hash or a nostalgic stroll down American Graffiti Lane.  Nor was it Western Exterminators 3 as dubbed by John Pochna (profiled in Juxtapoz #1) who brought what was a grassroots tradition in places like Kim’s sign shop and Mooneyes to its first gallery show.

This past Wednesday night, as we prepared ourselves with all the previews and pre-game hype of Comic-Con, Juxtapoz attended the DC Comics "We Can Be Heroes" art auction at Petco Park. With art on display in the theme of Justice League and amazing KIA art car unveiled by DC-publisher Jim Lee, the auction is set to help raise awarenesss for hunger in eastern Africa.
