Lords Crew in Linz, Austria

Members of Lords Crew in Austria were recently joined by San Francisco writer Quake to paint a massive mural to an area called Mural Harbor in Linz Austria. Quake explains how the Lords crew have grown from a bay area based crew to how they met members Fader, Nychos, Shue77, Phekt, and Shed who helped expand the crew into Europe.

After living and going to school in Chicago for a few years, Luke Pelletier went back to his rural-tourist-driven-hometown, Brevard, North Carolina, for a few months to make the work for his first solo in over three years. Living in a tourist town for much of his life, he has been heavily influenced by seasonal economies, as well as the multi-level relationships, dependence and resentment, between tourists and locals.

The Phantasmal Imagery of Tommy Nease

Seattle-based photographer Tommy Nease’s work explores surreal and supernatural themes with an illusory aesthetic. Similarly to the artist Chris Bucklow, Nease often portrays his subjects as illuminated, translucent bodies. Nease’s work pertains to the horror/macabre genre and his work can be interpreted to contain themes of death and exorcism.
