Palladini's Ambiguous Eroticism

Erotica // Sunday, October 20, 2013
Much of Jeffrey Palladini's work brandishes a sort of ambiguous eroticism ‘ a vaguely (and sometimes not-so-vaguely) sexual tension that shows through even the most neutral imagery. The multiple figures which populate many of my recent works share narratives that are compelling but not quite overt, encouraging the viewer to project their own stories and points of view into their interpretations. Palladini is a San Francisco based creative.

Juxtapoz // Saturday, October 19, 2013
André Karpov, with his swoony voice and epic shoulders, seems as though he stepped out of an Americana doc highlighting the brave broad range of the Mendocino coast children. The story begins: In the Pacific Northwest where the land meets the water, lived a cynical gull and an amiable otter.

Amazing illustrations form a guy from Thailand. Born in 1985 in Thailand and raised in Sydney, Australia on a super-diet of cartoons, comic books, and sci-fi movies. James Jirat Patradoon now makes giant candy coloured screenprints/posters you can look at and adore but cannot eat. "I worry about alternate realities, the poor Hikikomoris, and cosplay supplies. One day I want to publish a book about my research into parallel universes but until then I will stick to drawing pictures.”

This Weekend, follow us as we chase our #WildRabbit

Juxtapoz // Friday, October 18, 2013
We all have our own "Wild Rabbits": those ever-elusive things we passionately pursue--no matter how far, no matter the cost. Our Wild Rabbits propel us onward, upward, and forward; they compel us to keep chasing that which means the most to us, though we know it will always remain just out of reach. This drive never settles, and ultimately takes us on a remarkable journey that is as important as the destination itself.
