In 2008, photographer Michael Wolf began living part-time in Paris after living in Hong Kong for over a decade. At that time he was apprehensive about the prospect of working in his new home city, concerned about the clichés associated with images of Paris. It was during this period that he produced the series Paris Street Views by essentially sequestering himself in his apartment and appropriating images of Paris from Google Street View.

Continuing our coverage from the fifth annual Living Walls Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, we catch up on a number of artist’s working on their murals, with some ambitious participants taking on a second wall. Over the last few days many of the artists have been working directly in the stifling sun with no shade, but each have found ways to combat the heat (Most successfully being Fintan Magee regularly running through playground sprinklers!).

To coincide with our 20th Anniversary and the opening of Jeremy Fish's new exhibition, "Yesterdays and Tomorrows" at FFDG (opening on Friday, August 15, 2014), Fish has designed a special print in an edition of 100 to mark the occasion. The screen print was printed at Bloom Press in Oakland, California, is signed and numbered, and sized at 18" x 24".

Christophe Guye Galerie is pleased to present Roger Ballen's upcoming solo exhibition "Asylum of the Birds," which will be the first gallery exhibition of his most recent series of work. We reviewed his newest book in the mag recently, and were lucky enough to have Mr Ballen on the cover of our photography zine in early 2014. Not only will the show feature over a dozen black and white photographs, the film ‘Asylum of the Birds’ as well as a site-specific installation and original drawings will be on view.
