As we noted on the site recently, Juxtapoz and Chandran Gallery are presenting a special art gallery exhibition and installation series at the Shore Club in Miami Beach during the Art Basel week festivities, December 5—7. Amongst a few parties (and a special performance by the Black Lips on Thursday, December 5), Andrew Schoultz will be creating a special installation on the Shore Club property, expanding upon an installation the San Francisco-based fine artist created at the Monterey Museum of Art this past summer.

"Systems": Dieter Rams for Braun @ Walter Knoll Showroom, London

German industrial designer, Dieter Rams, has an extensive career of making product designs for Braun. Das Programm, the store and archive of Dieter Rams‘ work for Braun, curated an exhibition entitled "Systems," where they asked 34 graphic designers to respond to “systematicity of Braun Design," in the vein of Rams' classic work for the company. The resulting poster art designs, ranging from classic Braun designs to products that never saw production, are up in the Walter Knoll showroom in Clerkenwell, London, through December 31, 2013.

Not only does she have a ton of new paintings to check out, but she recently posted some new prints and zines on her site, and updated some of her commercial works she has been doing for Sony and a few children's books. Museum show in Philadelphia, two major exhibitions in NYC, and now the Brooklyn-based artist has lent his artwork to the cover of iD Magazine and their story on Supreme, KAWS, and how the super-but-not-super-big brand Supreme has conquered a portion of the fashion world. And model Candice Swaneepoel is the benefactor of KAWS art and some cleverly placed Supreme decks... 

The Light Art of Tokihiro Sato (Correction)

Tokihiro Sato is one of Japan's best known artists working in photography. Trained as a sculptor, he has been using photography since the late 1980s to express his ideas about light and space. In an ongoing series that he describes as "breath graphs" or "photo respiration," tiny points of light or illuminated lines record his movements through space.
