Phlegm has been a regular in our street art section over the last couple years and we’ve been wondering when he was going to make the transition to showing his work in galleries. This Saturday, February 1st will be that time.

Vault // Saturday, January 25, 2014
If you are in San Francisco tonight, Saturday January 25, go by and see our friends at Adobe Books because they will be hosting a Chris Johanson book signing from 6—10pm. There will be music by the Ovarian Trolley in celebration of Adobe's 25th Anniversary, and, you know, you can get a book signed by Chris, who notes "Adobe Bookshop is my first home. MF Doom: Clarks, Working with ESPO, Rings... Man is Busy

Music // Saturday, January 25, 2014
MF Doom is all over the creative map at the moment, and not all of it has to do with music. First, he designed his own signature pair of Clarks Originals Wallabees. Then, he released his own custom rings designed by Han Cholo for Nature Sounds. And, after he had ESPO direct the music video for the JJ Doom track, "Bookhead," it looks like ESPO contributed some graphics to a limited edition Bookhead EP picture disc. We want everything we just mentioned...

Remembering Oz Magazine

Erotica // Friday, January 24, 2014
Oz was a popular underground magazine in London during the late 1960's. It was about sex, drugs, rock&roll, fantasy, love, freedom & waking up, and it was one of the most visually exciting publications of its time. Several editions included psychedelic wrap-around or pull-out posters and the cover of Oz #11 included a collection of multi-color stickers.

Elle Muliarchyk for Rodarte

Juxtapoz // Friday, January 24, 2014
Elle Muliarchyk has shot a few campaigns for fashion designers Rodarte, but this one in particular, a project called "Rodarte:Fly" caught our eye this morning as a stunning fashion shoot. Elle shoots a bunch of commercial projects that end up looking far more of fine art sense than your typical celebrity posed straight to magazine shoots. Fantastic stuff.

The Works Of Michael Cina

Juxtapoz // Friday, January 24, 2014
Minneapolis based Michael Cina of Cina Associates might be better known for his commercial work for clients like Apple, VH1, Coca-Cola, Adobe, American Express, and the list goes on. Today we're taking a look at Cina's more progressive work. The highly stylized mixed medium images appear to be collage but we're not 100% sure. Regardless of the medium we're enjoying how Cina is able combine aspects of design, photography, and painting to create these wonderful original works.
