1985 Apple Phone Patent

Back in 1985, Apple patented this phone design, which is pretty hard to believe considering their incomparably sleek and functional product line today. The shape of an apple just seems inconvenient, especially that stem, but then again this was also the year that Apple finally discontinued the Lisa aka the Macintosh XL, ancient technology compared to today's iMacs and Macbooks. It is curious to think about how successful this phone may have been nearly three decades ago. It might have been a hit. Who knows?!
