WILCO (the wishes) with John Stirratt

Musician John Stirratt has been playing music his entire life, and the music he's been making has been decorating my life ever since I first heard it... I remember seeing him and his twin sister, Laurie and their band, Blue Mountain, back in '94 or so in Missouri as they opened up for Uncle Tupelo, and a few years later John and Jeff Tweedy formed WILCO and the rest has been a nice collection of beautiful music ever since. We sent John a Vess Orange "Just Whistle" soda bottle with a genie in it, the genie granted John 3 wishes, John makes his wishes below and also shared a photograph he took: 1) a moss garden 2) a Ray-Davies like songwriting ability 3) my daughter to grow up thoughtful and kind Here's a photo I took that I'm proud of- I love architectural photos and old postcards- this was a shot that to me brings together these these interests- taken in Nottingham, England and it looks like it could be pre-war.
