Archive: David Choe @ Facebook, 2005
As the national media continues to label David Choe (who curated an entire issue for Juxtapoz in May 2010) a "homeless graffiti artist" turned owner of Facebook shares, we look back at David's initial painting at the Facebook headquarters, with archived footage of Sean Parker's first reaction of Dave's mural at the offices.

Cheeto Elvis?!
Celebrity portraits made entirley of Cheetos?? Eclectic Asylum Art has completed some cheesy pieces made entirely out of Cheetos (and a little glue). Over 50 bags of different flavors are used to sort different colors, sizes, and shapes, and nearly 2,000 individual Cheetos are used to create a portrait of Conan O'Brian- all held into place with a little glue and varnish.

Dan Bob Thompson
LA-based animator and illustrator Dan Bob Thompson graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Animation and worked for nine years at Disney Studios. For the past six years he has been working at Cartoon Network, dreaming of the day he will live in a small seaside village working as a freelance illustrator.

Eric Cahan's "Sky Series"
This photographic series by New York photographer Eric Cahan was created by adding filters with a variety of cameras that are both film and digital. Influenced by the California light and space movement, Cahan is interested in achieving an experience of light and color that is seamless and that transcends reality, much like his predecessors like Turrell in the 1960s.

Trash Found in Ocean Collages by Mandy Barker
We know there is a lot of trash and plastic swimming in our oceans, but to actually see it collaged into one frame is downright alarming. Why is there a toothpaste tube swimming in the Pacific Ocean? Mandy Barker has created this photo series, Soup, where she takes plastics and trash found on the beach and collages them into one piece of art.

A Slice of Vintage Erotica (NSFW)
A glimpse into the not too distant past, the days of conservative love making, jello molds and emergency basement shelters... a time when erotica was a little more tame, sex was more of a taboo and explicit agendas shunned upon. But judging from these vintage illustrations, maybe not. Artist unknown.
