We showed you Parts 1 & 2 of Augustine Kofie's segment of Fresh Perspective, as well as Tod Seelie, and today we are happy to show Part 2 of a profiel on paper sculpture artist, Jeff Nishinaka.

RED BULL RIDE + STYLE: Nate Van Dyke, Arlo Eisenberg, and Aaron De La Cruz
San Francisco’s Justin Herman Plaza will set the scene for a collision of fixed gear biking and urban contemporary art Saturday, April 30, for the Red Bull Ride + Style event, with obstacles designed and by local artists Erik Otto, Aaron De La Cruz, Nate Van Dyke, Arlo Eisenberg, and a custom installation by Mark Grieve and Ilana Spector. Today, we look at Van Dyke, De La Cruz, and Eisenberg as they prepare their contributions.

The Art of Quentin Garel
Paris-based sculptor Quentin Garel creates what he calls "trophies," carved and drawn animals in both wood or bronze. The works are sometimes skull and bones, and sometimes they depict full animal busts. He currenty is showing at Musée Départemental de l'Abbaye de Saint-Riquier in Paris through June 5, 2011.

Jacub Gagnon is one of Toronto’s great emerging artists in the new contemporary movement. He graduated in 2009 and holds a BFA specialized in Drawing & Painting from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in Toronto, Canada. He is showing at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City starting April, 30.

We personally have been fans of Farber's work since he was a founding member of The Royal Art Lodge, an artist collective based in Winnipeg with Michael Dumontier and Marcel Dzama.
