Cover artist and participating Detroit artist RETNA has a new video on LA Forward that shows him giving a tour of his mural in downtown LA that he painted with Mac based on a photograph by Estevan Oriol. What was supposed to be informative turns a tad confrontational as a man near the mural starting shouting at the film crew and Retna. Watch after the jump . . .
FIFTY24MX Gallery in Mexico City just opened their Minimart collective show with original artwork and limited edition prints from more than 20 international and local artists, including Alex Pardee, Charles Glaubitz, Sam Flores, Ericailcane, Rene Almanza, Saner, and Neck Face. Ever since we profiled Greek artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis in the magazine, people have been telling us that they really like the work. We were caught by how grand his building-sized pieces were, part of that great generation of European street artists who are really capturing size and scale.
