Camille Rose Garcia opens a new solo exhibition, "Snow White and the Black Lagoon" in Los Angeles, California at the Michael Kohn Gallery ths Saturday (March 12), and she sent us a video of her painting for the new show. As we wrote earlier, the "show plays off of the classic Grimm Brothers’ story, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”, with this series of paintings and drawings creating a modern day allegory for our delusional relationship with nature." This past weekend in New York City was the 13th annual Armory Show that took place at piers 92 & 94 on the West Side. As you know, the Armory Show is an international art fair showcasing artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries, with a lot of galleries we cover having showcases and booths that were worth a check out.
