This weekend in the United States, influential filmmaker, Werner Herzog, saw the release of his 3D documentary, "Cave of Forgotten Dreams," a look at the recently discovered cave paintings in the Chauvet caves in the South of France,dating back 32,000 years.

Risk, Crash, and Freedom at Corey Helford Gallery
Tonight, Saturday April 30 at Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, graffitit mainstays Crash, Freedom, and Risk will be showcased in "Blurring the Lines." All three artists had a major part in the MOCA's Art In the Streets exhibition, including Risk's painted bus that sits in front of the Geffen.

The Devil is Left Handed
In Portuguese the words "Esquerdino" and "Canhoto" indicate "someone who habitually uses the left hand", though "canhoto" is a usually a derogatory definition, but is best used on a daily basis. Canhoto is also a popular name for the Devil in Portuguese.

What One Finds on Google Street View
Over a year ago, Montreal-based Jon Rafman started collecting screen captures of Google Street Views from a range of Street View blogs and his own exploration of the program. His Tumblr of his findings is one of the most fascinatiing world views, and art projects, we have seen in quite some time.

An Interesting Art Direction by Conor Cronin
We were researching a few different portrait ideas for the magazine, and came across this series by South African born, Spain-based Conor Cronin, which he did for an outdoor print and newspaper campaign for the Barcelona City Council. Cronin currently works for the *S,C,P,F Agency in Barcelona.
