American Dream is an ongoing project by Assaf Shaham, in which he digitally transfigures images of famous monuments to stretch skyward. The low fidelity images and pixelated transformation of the landmarks and sculptures adds new color and texture to these easily recognizable forms, reigniting our interest in these subjects, just as a new typeface can refresh the look of a webpage.
