Nespoon for Fame Festival 2011
As we prepare for our trip to Fame Festival at the end of September, we have been doing our research, and one artist we are learning about is Polish artist, Nespoon. She works in ceramics, and creates handmade public works. When at Fame in Italy this summer, she spent a month with local artisans creating a body of work to place around Grottaglie.

Os Gemeos for Back2Black 2011
Os Gemeos were called upon to be a part of Brazil Back2Black Festival, providing both a visual and physical art experience. The Festival, held in Rio de Janeiro to promote global appreciation for African culture in Brazil, had the Twins create a fantastic installation that stretched through a large indoor/outdoor venue.

Nendo Solo show in Taiwan
Oki Sato from Japanese design firm, Nendo, created unique black and white illustrations within the installations at the Nendo Solo show in Taiwan. The concept was to make visitors feel as if they were walking through an illustration.
Animal Chairs by Maximo Riera
Spanish designer Maximo Riera has created a new series of furniture pieces, the Animal Chair collection. One particular piece, the Rhino chair, is very impressive. Riera creates chairs of mammals, reptiles, and sea life.
