There have been a few artists we have shown on the site in the past year that have made clever street art utilizing existing infrastructure in the urban environments of which they live. Russian artist Pavel Puhov has a few extremeley clever pieces that show some of the best street art is about communication with the physical city around it.


The Black Axe is a high impact creative and design studio founded in the murky, gator-ridden swamps of Orlando, Florida in 2008. Their vibrant illustration and design work has graced the surfaces of everything from band merch and apparel to full custom busses and they're not stopping yet.




Sandwiches themselves can be pieces of art, and they are open to interpretation. Enter Brittany Powell and her Low-Commitment Projects with Tae Kitakata, where they have taken sandwiches and used them as a canvas to reimagine the works of O'Keefe, Hirst, Rothko, Johns, and other masters of their time.
