Waone of Interesni Kazki in India

Waone who makes up one half of the muralist powerhouse, Interenki Kazki was recently traveling through India and painted the following two murals.  Both touching on different themes, they are titled “Theyyam" and "Nest"\Thallu Vandi." Remember, Interesni Kazki is featured in a 12-page interview in the new February 2012 issue of Juxtapoz, on newsstands now.

Xu Bing: 550,000 “First Class” Brand Cigarettes Rug

With over half a million cigarettes (550,000 to be exact) and weighing 440 pounds, Xu Bing has created a tiger-skin rug as a reflection of global trade and the seduction of such a deadly product. The rug was on exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art this past December.
