Sneak peak at The Shooting Gallery and White Walls opening receptions this Saturday! Dropped by yesterday to check out the art from my good pals of Antistrot. Johan and Silas are just two of the members of the Antistrot group and came all the way from Denmark to install and paint murals on the walls of The Shooting Gallery.

Gallery Six recently had the pleasure of working with an artist who goes by the name Jason Vivona. His art is a mixture of humorous situations, psychedelic colors and shapes and insightful creations of mixed mediums. Vivona's "Eternal Beauty Rest" incorporated painting, drawing, sewing and spray paint. Not only was the artwork impressive but the night had something for the ear and stomach too, with a live band, home brewed beers and Danica's famous chocolate chip cookies.

Hell's Bells Tonight!!

Hell’s Bells is setting up for the art action and pinewood derby race tonight at The Shooting Gallery and White Walls from 6-9 pm. AS artist show up with their art and cars in hand, the lovely ladies of Hell’s Bells run around and set up for a night of music, dancing, raffles, art auctioning and of course the big race.

I have some plans to start working more in my sketch book after the awesome opening of Banal Obsessions new works by Eli Harris. The opening was filled with beautiful art and included an installation made with Harris’ sketchbooks. Here’s a little peak into what was inside.

Just discovered the amazing Evan B. Harris again. I've seen some of his older works and was fascinated with his style, obsession with whales and above all awesome perspective, but his new works have even more depth. His show titled "Fables and the Flourish" at Together Gallery is filled with acrylic paintings on canvas. Check out some of his newest works.
