i was asked to make a piece for the upcoming playboy show at the andy warhol museum in pittsburgh. the show is a tribute to 50 years of the playboy bunny. coincidentally, i like to draw bunnies.

the barter system continues in 2010. recently i made this folding sign for some talented jewelers in my neighborhood. in exchange, the fine dudes at mea-cinis helped me make this nice acorn lady ring for my special lady friend for xmas. i am collaborating with these guys to make a small line of jewelry. mostly rings, pendants, and broaches. stay tuned for further developments.

THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED

last year i spent the better part of the year in san francisco working on the laguna art museum show. this year i need to get back to traveling badly. i put together a mobile art show of sorts. i plan to drive around, show some artwork, paint some murals, make some new friends, and swap a story here and there. coming to a town near you... stop by and bring me a beer...

spent almost all of 2010 so far drawing a shitload. planning to make some new screenprints with my friend nat swope at bloom press in oakland. usually at this stage i just draw and draw, until i find the right image to make into prints. this time i have lots to choose from, help me pick the raddest drawings...please vote either here in the comments, or on facebook...

i would like to apologize for my lack of blogging lately. i have been busy finishing the last of the work for my new show, "weathering the storm" which opens to the public sunday november 8th at the laguna art museum in laguna beach, california. here is a lil preview...
