Graffiti

Most graffiti on canvas is pretty un-interesting, but a little humor, Oscar The Grouch, and some throwups can definitely do the trick.  Haeler at Known Gallery for the Sesame Street show.

Los Angeles-based graffiti writer, Cab, created this collage of his personal photographs with a large metal sculpture for an art show in 2005.

Horfe’s newest work is from somewhere else, but not existing in this dimension.   Stripped down to a simple two colors, these recent framed pieces are meticulous in detail and content.  Looking like a futuristic architectural comic strip, the small world’s Horfe is developing have us excited and optimistic about graffiti’s future.
