Narrative Illustrations by Patrick O’Leary

"I started out a few years ago after graduating from Loughborough University with a BA in Illustration and have since worked for the likes of Radio Times, Wired and Anorak. The work itself always tries to communicate in as concise a way as possible and often try to use visual metaphors or in jokes to convey a message. I often start with a sketchbook and use it to jot down ideas, words, colours; anything that I feel could help communicate the message I’m trying to get across. I use Photoshop to produce the final artwork, drawing and colouring over the roughs from my sketchbook before adding textures and shadows to add more dimension to the illustration." - Patrick O’Leary
