21 x 30. Blood, spit, and ink on paper.
Zero Cents is a painter based out of Tel Aviv, Israel who has been working on the streets for 6 years. Lately he has been “trying to balance between studio and street work.” Zero Cents tells us, “In the past 3 years I’ve seen an explosion of stuff on the streets here; something I never thought I would see. and I think its really rad that you guys have been supporting me and my friends.”
“Usually when I paint in the street, it’s in the south of Tel Aviv where graffiti and street art is flourishing. More an more quality work is getting done with not a lot of problems with the cops and actually encouragement from the people that live in the area.
“My work deals with problems in society, sex, people, the way we treat one another, the complexities of give and take, the life we all are forced to live. I love it and hate it.”
From what we see here, Zero Cents actually makes quite a lot of sense.
