The wait is over: Blu's New Stop Motion Film, Big Bang Big Boom
Tuesday July 06, 2010 |
![]() Blu has been very busy the past few months, with trips to Italy, Portugal, as well as feverishly working on his highly anticipated new film, Big Bang Big Boom. This new wall-painted animation reaffirms Blu is the top stop motion animator around. Prepare to have your mind blown. Directed and animated by BLU, Big Bang Big Boom was shot over the past year in various locations, including Uruguay and Argentina, offers “an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life ... and how it could probably end.”
We won’t say anything more. Just watch the film and keep in mind just how long and cohesive the animation took to formulate. Then watch BLU’s previous stop motion film, Muto, to see just how talented this Italian artist truly is.
