Juxtapoz 15th Anniversary Art Auction: Aiko Nakagawa
Tuesday September 22, 2009

OG NYC based street artist AIKO has more than earned her stripes. As Martha Cooper confirms, “The great thing about Aiko is that she’s always up for any adventure day or night, Uptown, Downtown—wherever. And when she’s not actually putting her work out on the street, then she’s quietly picking up ideas and storing them for future use.”

We're proud to announce the addition of AIKO to our 15th Anniversary Art Auction.

“Everyday I find myself surrounded by the energy and colors that the City offers you. I like recollecting visuals and images wherever I go, as well as collecting materials such as fragments of furniture, metal sheets, or multi-cultural signs and logos and mixing them all into a personalized composition to make my own language.” —Aiko
