This is something I just did for the rock festival Monstro label organizes every year in Goiânia (thus the name) a city close to the more famous Brasília and very hot and noisy I supose. The nice guys at Monstro Discos and Livros Voodoo were responsible for my book Música para Antropomorfos coming out some years ago. Well, now they're holding the 15th festival and are planing a lot of surprises to celebrate the event. One of them is an exhibition with 15 artists doing a piece of graphic art celebrating each year (well, it's not a surprise anymore) and I was invited to do year number 14. If you're lucky you can get the catalogue they are printing. If you go to the Goiânia Noise Festival web site you can see this year's poster art for the festival by MZK and more info on it.

My friend Laura has a new book out. Número de Circo  can be found in bookshops around Brasil or you can ask her about it. Here's to her Flickr so you can have a taste of her wonderful art and find her e-mail. And while we are at it let's give a look at her group Charivari's blog. Charivari is the name of the fanzine around which a group of friends gather in São Paulo. They are great artists and illustrators and when they are not doing the zine they are working on art for the most beautiful books around. They meet regularly to draw together and plan joint exhibitions and workshops.

Kaio did this when he was living in São Paulo before going back to his hometown Goiânia. Checkout his flickr for other work.

Collages by Thaís, directly from Barra Funda, São Paulo. Haven't any more info because she doesn't talk much about them, it's just something she does when she's doing nothing.  They are not finished yet in case you didn't notice.
