Pacolli is well known by Juxtapoz readers - check the interview Stephan Doitschinoff made with her here - but since I had the opportunity to read two of her zines in my last trip to São Paulo I thought it was a good opportunity to say again how great they are and also to add that she's just moved to San Francisco. You should visit blog where you can find more info on her zines and her artwork. The above are pages from her Shitface zine.

Always late to the big events this blog is proud to bring some images of works by Alex Vieira shown at his latest venture, the Lote 64 exhibit in his hometown Vitória, ES, Brasil. The exhibit closed some days ago this march so this post is only an excuse to put up some nice photocopy art. Alex brought to the gallery the result of  his work around photocopying machines he got in an auction in 2008. His working process was also presented at the gallery: his vinyl player along with a case with LPs and his photocopying machines were on the floor upfront to the mural he would gradually modify in the period of the exhibit by adding new stuff he produced there. Also shown there were some leftovers he bound into hardcover books called the "Desciclopédia híbrida e monocromática sobre assuntos aleatórios - de A à Z", kind of an encyclopedia made up of found images. You can check some pictures of the opening night of Lote 64 here.

Alex Vieira is the publisher of Prego. You can also find him in the Reader Art section of the Juxtapoz website.

The good people at the Vertigo gallery in Mexico City organized this book for the Mexican office of Amnesty International. They invited 65 illustrators from around the globe to do a graphic message related to the conflict and it's consequences. The book was presented at the gallery at 11th this month while prints of the works hang from the walls. It is now moving around the city for the people to see it and sign the petition that will be sent to the United Nations.
You can go check the book and if you wish to sign the petition online here.
