John Kacere (b. 1920 - d. 1999) was an American Abstract-Expressionist painter who moved to Photorealism in 1963. For the majority of his career his paintings exclusively portrayed larger than life size female mid-sections draped in lingerie, and it's this body of photorealistic work that elevated him as an icon of the photorealist movement.
