Tight Media TV is producing a new series about artists called Sketch In The City. Soon to air on local TV channels in Japan, France, Australia, and more, they recently shot an episode about MF Gallery, artist/curator Frank Russo, and Dethrace. Directed by Dahlia Kozlowsky, it features interviews, performances and original artwork.
Tight Media describes the episode as, “An intimate look at the playfully violent mind of artist Frank Russo. Frank brings us inside his underground art hub, MF Gallery. Opened by Frank and his lady Martina in New York’s Lower East Side, the gallery showcases the talents of other "lowbrow" artists in this most obscene of art scenes. Watch out for the appearance of DETHRACE, the thrash-metal band from beyond the stars, as they do battle with the most unnatural ZOMBIES this side of 1986.”
