Write on Africa is working on a new project painting creches in South Africa. “We re-design and re-paint creches in less fortunate areas with locally relevant themes as part of community upliftment and rejuvenation.”

Xanele van Rensburg of Write on Africa continue, “Each creche is designed by one of the country's top illustrator/designers. We have finished one creche in the series. This Saturday [today], we are going to paint two more.”

Write on Africa is a not for profit initiative that mobilizes creativity in Africa for inspiration, social change and urban rejuvenation.

“Peter Pan” theory;

The idea that everyone forgets how to fly as as they grow up. Everyone is creative and everyone is an artist therefore through creative projects ,we want to inspire and effect the heart so people can feel uplifted and empowered to go and make a difference in their community.
