The print comes with a certificate of authenticity and “is interesting because it represents how a person would play the game. You use clones in order to devour as many pies as possible. The clones are in a blue shade where as the portly P.B. Winterbottom is clearer to pick out and at the top.”

Parea told us a bit about the creative process behind this piece:

“For this print I wanted an illustration that summed up the eternal struggle between P.B. Winterbottom and the Chronoberry pie, while also telling you a little bit more about their characters.

“The pie is alluring and delicious with time bending powers beyond its humble and delicious mortal coil. P.B. Winterbottom is a bastardly scamp who will stop at nothing for a chance to consume more pie. 

The other main inspiration, for the print, stems from a thought I have had in relation to Winterbottom since the games’ inception. If Winterbottom is working with his past selves and he is a notorious pie thief, would he share with himself?

“The print was made like most of my work on the title. I drew and inked the line art on watercolor paper, using dip pens and a sable brush. I then scanned the art and colored it in Photoshop.

“The print was a very limited run of 100 that 2K Play made as an exclusive promotion for the game. It even comes with a certificate of authenticity!”
